This year, we have organised a trip to Chatsworth House, and the new RHS Chatsworth Flower Show 2017.
The intention is to go straight to Chatsworth for 9.45am, when the RHS Show opens. We will have a full day there and—as it is the last day of the Show—they will be selling off the plants... so bring plenty of money!
We will then make our way to the hotel for an evening meal. The Hallmark Hotel, Derby Mickleover is a fabulous 4-star hotel located about three miles to the south west of Derby, with fantastic facilities, including swimming pool, sauna and a mini-gym. It has spacious, very well appointed bedrooms with every facility imaginable, including superfast free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, excellent food, and a lift serving all floors.
After breakfast the following day, we will make our way to Bakewell. As well as the delicious Bakewell Tarts and Puddings, it will be Market Day. We will have free time there until we make our way home. (If we have time and enough interest we will call at Blakemere Craft Centre on the way home.)
We have already secured our own coach for this trip, and small discount to £120 per person. (The additional single supplement has also been reduced to £10 per person.)
There will be three pickup points:
- Harwoods Lane, Rossett at the junction with The Green at 6.55am
- The Queen Hotel, Chester at 7.20am
- St. John's Church, Great Sutton at 7.40am
